Automotive Automotive Products CDP Diamond has several grades of materials to improve your drilling, milling, grooving, countersinking, turning and boring in most materials. Using Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD) or Cubic Boron Nitride (CBN) will improve your costs and cycle times. PCD tools are used to optimize the machining of carbon composites, ceramics and resins, plastics, zinc, bronze, brass, copper, aluminum, silica-aluminum castings, sintered carbides and compacted graphite iron (CGI). CBN Tools can be used to optimize the machining of grey cast iron, high tensile cast iron, powdered metals, hard steels and steel alloys, as well as other materials. Wear parts made with PCD are also available for all non impact applications in gauging and support parts for improved life.
